@jahway603 I think maybe I can answer my own question. The definition of "reproducible" means that different developers can compile the source code and generate a byte-for-byte exact copy of the binary. I am pretty sure our debian packages work in such a way that hushd has it's own package and SD has it's own, so if people already have the CLI hushd, a SD debian package will use/depend on the hushd debian package.

So the answer is "no", a reproducible SD debian package does not require a reproducible hushd, they are seperate debian packages.
