Besides changing the VPS what can I try in order to eliminate the following error:

IO error: /home/user/.komodo/HUSH3/blocks/index/000230.ldb: Bad file descriptor

@onryo spending lots of money on the server, use a physical server, or something without IO constraints. This is exactly the problems I was running into.

@onryo you can slow down some cronjobs to not run as often and you will be less likely to hit IO constraints, as well

let me see if slowing down cronjobs can make any difference, otherwise I will burn some more USD to get a better VPS, last time it helped for SDL lite server

@onryo at some point, it might be cheaper to buy a cheap server and have it located somewhere with decent internet, like a university/etc, or rent "colocation space", which means you are paying for rack space and internet, but not the actual server.

Avoiding a VPS and using bare metal has better privacy as well.
