The code to do this should be almost exactly the same as the code we use in SD, especially if we dynamically generate the list of languages from the *.qm files on disk.

Since this seems finished in SD, it's probably time to port that code to SDL

SDL will need some additional features of run-time translation:

  • Choose language on the first time install "wizard" (which SD doesn't have)
  • Auto-select whatever language is the current OS defaut in the dropdown
