SD uses the validateaddress RPC. For SDL to support this, it's likely needed to update the server side to give this information, then update the client to ask for the output of that RPC and render the info in the returned JSON

SDL does not have the "Validate Address" feature which is currently included in SD under the Apps toolbar section.
